Q: I've had bad experiences with other roofers. How are you different?
A: I take great pride in my cedar expertise and the quality of my workmanship. For more than 20 years, Connecticut homeowners like you have been happy with our work, professionalism, and on-time performance. Clients regularly recommend us to their friends and neighbors. We have worked for several generations in the same family at times.
Q: Why is your preservative so special?
A: Scientists from Texas A&M University and the U.S. Forestry Service confirmed that my formula provides the most complete, long-lasting protection available. Cedar-Life preservative penetrates the cedar fibers over a two-week period, filling tiny cracks and openings. This prevents moisture and fungi from entering. Our process helps prevent future cupping, curling, and cracking as it protects against fungal and mildew regrowth, and instills internal health to the shingles. Each application lasts from 5 to 7 years depending on how much sun, shade and freezing temperature your roof endures.
Q: Can I choose the color of my Cedar-Life treated roof?
A: Yes, We offer several color choices including the option to weather gradually back to a gray patina. We will gladly provide addresses and photos of homes we have preserved, as well as provide a mock-up to see how the color will look on your roof and specific conditions.
